Making IT work for you

The Calm before, during and after the Storm...

In IT support as well as IT projects issues always arise. The key is to have the ability to successfully handle any situation that comes along.
How can you have the ability to successfully handle any situation that comes along?

  1. Preparation   –   Be prepared for what could happen by researching about what others have done in similar situations prior to implementing solutions.
  2. Knowledge   –   Understanding the product, yourself and those you are working with is vital to knowing how to react when things go wrong.
  3. Improvisation   –   Thinking outside the box is something you can learn and when you are prepared and knowledgeable creating unique solutions tailored to your specific issues become natural.

I have worn many hats throughout my career   –   Network Administrator, Server Administrator, Analyst, Writer, Project Manager, Manager and Mentor. This has provided me with the unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and successfully innovate through complex challenges. I have over 10 years experience in IT and over 7 years experience leading client support, infrastructure and project teams.
